Outdoor Activities

Newton Grange is ideally placed to enjoy the endless outdoor activity and adventure that the Yorkshire Dales provide, with Malham and its famous limestone scenery just 8 miles away. Closer to home, footpaths, bridleways, the Pennine Way and the Leeds Liverpool Canal are all accessible from the doorstep, providing many opportunities for walking, cycling and horse riding. Enjoy life on the farm all year round.  Visit in March or April to see the lambing.

Over the past 10 years of restoration, we’ve enjoyed making Newton Grange Farm in to the special place it is today.  Our working sheep farm continues, and our business has diversified to provide high quality guest accommodation and a venue for weddings, private parties and outdoor events.  We find the events so much fun, through the dynamism they bring to our every day life on the farm.

We hope that you’ll enjoy visiting Newton Grange for all that it offers.  We’re sure you’ll enjoy exploring from the doorstep or further afield, and see that our location just outside Skipton provides an excellent base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and the Market Towns of North Yorkshire.
