Horse Riding

Bring your horse or pony on holiday and enjoy riding out on local country lanes and bridleways.  Enjoy pony trekking in the Yorkshire Dales.

A bridleway connects Newton Grange to Craven Country Ride at Coniston Cold, where you can hire the cross country course. Hear what they say:

Come and enjoy a new riding experience, miles of tended grass tracks around fine craven meadows”.

Visit a pony trekking centres in the Yorkshire Dales.  Kilnsey Trekking & Riding Centre organise riding lessons, treks in the dales and longer one and two day treks, with horses and riders overnight at Newton Grange.  Hear what they say:

The Settle-Malham Loop of the Pennine Bridleway is a picturesque 10 mile route that we highly recommend.  The scenery is fantastic, and it makes a great day out to visit Settle, a charming market town.  The Pennine Bridleway can be accessed from car parks in Settle.
