Newton Grange Cottages are a hidden gem, nestled on a working sheep farm in the small hamlet of Bank Newton, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
To celebrate our ten year anniversary since opening, we've given the cottages a facelift and we're thrilled with the results. Our 2015 refurbishment has added lots of comfort, making the cottages a cosy retreat all year round.
With Egyptian cotton bed linen, rugs and throws we've upgraded the bedrooms to ensure a very comfortable night's sleep.
The living rooms all have comfortable sofas and provide a convivial place to meet with friends and family.
Our springtime photoshoot was a moment to take stock of the fabulous location we are privileged to live in. A setting surrounded by green fields and views to the surrounding hills that so typify this area of Yorkshire.
Our location at the end of a country lane, and beginning of the bridleway to East Marton, is a perfect place to explore from - whether stepping outside in to the fresh air to sit on the patio, walk along the towpath of the Leeds Liverpool Canal, cycle along the Pennine Cycleway or venturing out to climb up a nearby hill.
And Rachael has been baking again, to provide a tasty treat to guests on their arrival, using one of her favourite ingredients. Can you guess what this might be?
