Built from Yorkshire stone with lots of character, Turnbers Cottage is a beautiful holiday cottage with excellent amenities and comfortable accommodation in an idyllic setting. As you step outside you’ll enjoy the wonderful views over to Elslack Moor and see the sheep grazing in the Home Meadow. Enjoy a slower pace of life as you watch the new lambs in spring and see horses riding along the bridleway.
Turnbers Cottage has a modern, well equipped kitchen, with high quality granite worktops, fridge with freezer shelf, microwave, gas hob and electric oven. The cosy living room is a relaxing place to stay. Step outside to the patio and enjoy sharing stories around the picnic table as you take in the beauty of the Yorkshire countryside.
Turnbers Cottage has two bedrooms. On the ground floor is a spacious twin room and a shower room with shower, WC and handbasin. Upstairs, is a wonderfully private and cosy ensuite king size double bedroom with ensuite shower, WC and handbasin. Enjoy seeing the sun rise over surrounding hills, as you take in the countryside views.
Explore from the doorstep to find a delightful picnic spot at the top of Banks Hill, a short walk from the cottage. Enjoy the 360 degree views to Malham Cove, Pendle Hill, Weets Top and Sharphaw.
Set off for the day to Wharfedale, visiting the pretty Dales villages of Burnsall and Grassington, with its cobbled streets and vibrant shops and cafes. Continue to Kettlewell and enjoy a walk over the hill to Arncliffe in Littondale to take in a classic Dales View of dry stone walls and barns – a living landscape.
