Where to Cycle

Enjoy cycling along the towpath of the Leeds Liverpool Canal or join one of the long distance cycle routes through the Yorkshire Dales.

The Settle Circular (38 miles) - We particularly like the day cycle rides featured on the cycle routes website, including the Settle Circular.  A classic circuit in limestone country travelling through some of the best known Dales villages.

The Gargrave to Kettlewell Cycle Route (49 miles) - North Yorkshire offers some wonderful opportunities for cycling.  Try out this route which passes through Bank Newton.

Gisburn Forest Mountain Biking – Less than half an hour’s drive from Newton Grange you can explore the Forest of Bowland, joining the popular mountain biking trails in Gisburn Forest
